Cowboys Get Past ‘Skins

Call them the Kardiac Kids. The Dallas Cowboys won another nail-biter Monday night against the Washington Redskins. Six Dan Bailey field goals were enough for the ‘Boys to prevail, 18-16.

Tony Romo made some big throws. Felix Jones ran for 115 yards. Dez Bryant hauled in some important catches. The defense, once again, looked great.

The ‘Boys head into October 2-1. Next week’s a big challenge: The explosive Detroit Lions come to town. The defense must step up once again. The offense must get healthy and reduce their mental mistakes. Dallas must score touchdowns to keep up with Detroit’s dynamic offense. Field goals won’t suffice.
